Terms of Service

1. Who can use CodePeet

You must be at least 13 years old to use CodePeet, and at least the age of digital consent in your country where that is higher. If you are under 18, you may use CodePeet only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you confirm that you can form a legally binding agreement and that the information you give us is accurate and up to date.

2. Your account

You can create an account with an email and password or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Please keep your details accurate, use a strong password, and tell us promptly if you notice any unauthorized use. Each person should maintain a single account, and you may not share, sell, or transfer your account to anyone else.

3. Your licence to use CodePeet

As long as you follow these Terms, CodePeet grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to access and use the Service and its content for your own learning and non-commercial use. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

4. Things you may not do

When using CodePeet, you agree not to:

• Copy, reproduce, duplicate, or republish any CodePeet content — in whole or in part, and whether or not you modify, reformat, translate, paraphrase, rephrase, or otherwise alter it — outside the features we expressly provide.
• Create derivative, adapted, or paraphrased versions of CodePeet content, or present any CodePeet content — including problems, official solutions, courses, explanations, hints, and media — as your own.
• Sell, license, rent, lease, sub-license, distribute, publish, or otherwise commercialize any CodePeet content, or make it available to any third party, whether for free or for a fee.
• Download, scrape, save, cache, or store CodePeet content except through features we expressly provide, and never in bulk or in a systematic or automated way.
• Scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, or use bots or other automated means to access, monitor, or extract content or data from the Service.
• Use CodePeet content or data to build, train, fine-tune, or improve any dataset, machine-learning model, or product, or to create anything that competes with CodePeet.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code or underlying structure of the Service.
• Circumvent paywalls, rate limits, access controls, or any security or usage measures we put in place.
• Post content that is unlawful, infringing, misleading, hateful, harassing, or malicious, or upload malware or attempt to disrupt or breach the Service.
• Impersonate anyone, misrepresent your affiliation, or manipulate rankings, votes, reputation, referrals, or earnings.
• Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or the rights of others.

5. Our content and intellectual property

CodePeet and its licensors own the Service and all content we provide, including problems, official solutions, courses, text, graphics, logos, user interfaces, and software. This content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited licence granted to you in these Terms, we do not grant you any rights in it. "CodePeet", our logo, and our brand are our marks, and you may not use them without our prior written permission.

All CodePeet content is owned by us or our licensors, and every right that is not expressly granted to you is reserved. Any use of our content that is not expressly permitted by these Terms — including copying, reproducing (even with minor or cosmetic changes), downloading, scraping, distributing, reselling, or creating derivative works from it — is strictly prohibited, and may result in suspension or termination of your account and legal action.

6. Your content and contributions

You may post content on CodePeet — such as discussion posts, comments, and solutions — and, through our contribute-to-earn program, you may submit problems, explanations, and other learning materials (together, "User Content"). You keep ownership of your User Content.

By posting User Content, you grant CodePeet a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable, and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt and edit (for example, to format or moderate it), publish, publicly display, distribute, and otherwise use your User Content to operate, promote, and improve the Service. For content submitted through contribute-to-earn, this licence continues for as long as needed to keep the Service and any content that depends on it running, even after you stop using CodePeet.

You confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to the User Content you post, that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights, and that it is accurate and lawful. We may review, edit, or remove User Content at our discretion, and we are not obligated to store or return it.

7. Contributions and earnings

Our contribute-to-earn program lets you earn rewards for accepted contributions. Whether a contribution is accepted, and how it is rewarded, is at our discretion, and we may set and change rates, quality criteria, and review processes at any time.

Earnings accrue to your CodePeet wallet and may be withdrawn subject to any minimums, identity or payout verification, and applicable law. You are responsible for providing accurate payout details and for any taxes owed on your earnings. We may withhold, adjust, or reverse earnings for contributions that are plagiarized, low quality, fraudulent, or in breach of these Terms, and our referral rewards are subject to similar conditions and anti-abuse checks.

8. The AI mentor

CodePeet includes an AI mentor with Hint and Mentor modes that generates guidance automatically. AI output can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. It is intended to support your learning only and is not professional, legal, financial, or career advice, so please verify anything important before relying on it. Do not enter sensitive personal information into the AI mentor. We may process your interactions to provide, secure, and improve the feature, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Plans, payments, and billing

Some features require a paid plan. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Razorpay, and by purchasing you also agree to the provider’s applicable terms. Prices are shown at checkout and may include taxes; we may change prices going forward. You authorize us and our payment provider to charge your chosen payment method for the plan you select. If a plan renews automatically, we will make that clear at purchase, and you can cancel before the next renewal.

10. Refunds and cancellation

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

All payments are final. Once a payment has been made, whether to issue a refund is entirely at CodePeet’s sole discretion, and we are under no obligation to provide one. If you would like to request a refund, or raise a complaint or any other concern, email us at support@codepeet.com and we will review it — but any refund remains solely at our discretion.

11. Third-party services and links

The Service works with third parties — for example, Google for sign-in and Razorpay for payments — and may link to websites we do not control. Your use of those services and sites is governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using CodePeet and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or after a long period of inactivity. When your access ends, the licence we granted you also ends, but any parts of these Terms that by their nature should continue — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and we do not guarantee that using CodePeet will lead to any particular result, including any job offer, interview outcome, or exam result.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodePeet and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold CodePeet harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

16. Copyright complaints

We respect intellectual-property rights and expect our users to do the same. If you believe content on CodePeet infringes your copyright, please contact us at support@codepeet.com with enough detail to identify the copyrighted work and the material you are reporting, your contact information, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized, and a statement that your notice is accurate. We will review and, where appropriate, remove the infringing content.

17. Changes to these Terms and the Service

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version and change the "last updated" date above, and we will take reasonable steps to notify you of material changes. We may also change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. If you keep using CodePeet after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India — except where mandatory local law in your country of residence gives you other rights.

19. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and CodePeet regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent, but we may assign them. We may provide notices to you by posting on the Service or emailing the address on your account.
