Got shortlisted at both Zomato and Swiggy for SDE-1. Anyone who has interviewed there recently, what should I expect?

I think both companies have a startup vibe with a mix of intense learning and high pressure. Great for fast-paced career growth if you can handle the heat.
For both of these companies, expect a heavy focus on data structures and algorithms. They dive deep into your problem-solving approach during interviews. Can't speak for Zomato, but Swiggy does not expect system design at the SDE-1 level.
I had a friend who went through Zomato's process. He said the machine coding round was intense, focusing on writing clean, efficient code rather than just solving the problem.
I've heard the work-life balance at Zomato isn't the best—can be quite hectic. But the culture is vibrant and dynamic. Do your due diligence before you choose!
I was at Swiggy a while back. The coding rounds covered a lot of graph and DP questions. It helps to brush up on those topics. Culture is collaborative, but as mentioned, the pace can be pretty fast.
Hey Sachin, I interviewed at Swiggy last month. The coding rounds were moderately tough, mostly medium-level problems on platforms like LC. They did have a machine coding round but no system design for SDE-1.
Anyone know how much emphasis Swiggy places on Java vs Python? I'm more comfortable with Java but not sure if that matters.
