I know this might seem small to experienced people here but I just solved my first hard problem without looking at the solution! It was "Trapping Rain Water" and I used the two-pointer approach.

Been prepping for 3 months and this feels like a huge milestone. Just wanted to share with someone who'd understand the feeling πŸ˜„

What was your first hard problem?

That's so cool, Sachin! I haven’t tried the two-pointer method on that problem yet. Was your solution optimal or do you think there's room for improvement?

Big milestone indeed! I struggled with 'Trapping Rain Water' myself. After solving it, similar problems became much easier.

Way to go! Trapping Rain Water is a classic. My first was 'Longest Valid Parentheses'. Almost gave up coding that day haha.

Congrats! I remember being stuck on 'Regular Expression Matching'. How did you find the two-pointer approach? Was it intuitive for you?

Congrats Sachin! πŸŽ‰ I remember my first hard problem was 'Merge k Sorted Lists'. Took me forever to understand heaps back then.

Awesome job! I always find two-pointer method interesting, it’s so elegant. My first hard problem was 'Largest Rectangle in Histogram'.
