How to build a strong GitHub profile for job applications
I keep hearing that a good GitHub profile helps in job hunting. But what exactly makes a profile "good"?
Is it:
- Number of repositories?
- Contribution graph (green squares)?
- Open source contributions?
- Quality of personal projects?
I have a few college projects on my GitHub but they're messy. Should I clean them up or start fresh with new projects?
Also, do recruiters actually look at GitHub? Or is it just a myth?
