How much should a freelance developer charge per hour?

Thinking of doing some freelance work on the side. For a developer with 4 years of experience (full stack, React + Node.js), what's a reasonable hourly rate?

I've seen ranges from ₹1000/hr to ₹5000/hr on Indian platforms and $50-$ 150/hr on international platforms.

What are you guys charging? And which platforms do you use - Upwork, Toptal, or direct clients?

I usually charge around ₹2000/hr for local clients on platforms like Upwork, but I go up to $100/hr for international clients. It really depends on the project and the client's budget. Sometimes being flexible can land you more gigs.
