Hot take: a 25 LPA salary in Bangalore gives you the same lifestyle as a 15 LPA salary in a tier-2 city. After rent, food, and commute, the savings are similar.

Yet we obsess over absolute numbers. A 15 LPA developer in Jaipur might actually be saving more money than a 25 LPA developer in Bangalore.

Should we start talking about "purchasing power adjusted" salaries instead of raw CTC?
